Therapy isn’t about fixing a broken version of you, it’s about clearing the noise so you can hear your own voice again. Often we can look fine to the word but feel like a tangled mess guided by inner critics and people pleasing on the inside. I believe healing happens in connection. Here we aren’t going to just vent, we are going to explore your experiences, relationships with your thoughts, and what you value most. This allows us to create a unique toolkit, built on your needs that makes your life feel lighter.

I’m a therapist but I’m also a human who understands the pressure of trying to have it all together. Here, you won’t get a therapist that quietly nods at you for 50-minutes or tells you to “think more positivity”. I am collaborative in the process of therapy - I will laugh with you, call you out (kindly, of course), and offer real, tangible feedback.

What A Session With Me Is Like
I work with women across Canada from Ottawa to Vancouver, you will login from where ever you feel comfortable. The first few minutes of the session is dedicated to checking in, you can tell me a funny story from your week or how your doing in that moment. If your working on something specific we will take some time to see how it’s going. The main part of the session is dedicated to slowing things down, noticing your patterns and developing new ones consistent with the kind of person you wish to be. The last few minutes of the session is for ensuring you leave therapy with a tangible tool you can start using that day.

The first session is an opportunity to share what you hope to work on in therapy and start developing goals that will serve as a roadmap in therapy. This is a collaborative, relational space where you can share as much (or as little) as you like. As always, you will leave this session with a tangible tool you can bring into your real life.

There is no magic number of sessions. Most people find that after 3-6 months they notice significant pattern shifts. Some people choose to move to bi-weekly or monthly sessions at this point or take a break from therapy and pop in as needed. You can have as many or as little session as you’d like.
